“Dakar 34” tells the story of my journey into the city from the dessert flat lands of the Senegalese international airport “Blaise Diagne”. Experiencing the terrain for the very first time, noticing the red color of the earth, and the hyper blues in the sky, all seeming so strange in comparison to the land back home in the U.S. The journey in shows life on the road into the big city Dakar. As we get closer in you begin to see the population increase, and life at its constant pace.
